11:15am - Athletics: Dalilah Muhammad becomes first American woman to win gold in 400m hurdles with a time of 53.13.

10:30am - Athletics: South Africa's Caster Semanya wins her heat in the women's 800m to cruise into the final. WATCH

10:00am - Athletics: HUGE FNISH! Aussie Ryan Gregson finishes fourth in his 1500m semi-final, to become the first Aussie in 40 years to make it into the final. MORE.

8:15am - Lochte charged: American swimmers Ryan Lochte and James Feigen have officially been charged by Brazilian police with false reporting of a crime as the 'mugging' story continues to fall apart.

7:15am - Hockey: Argentina win Gold!

Argentina take home the gold medal in the Men's Hockey final after a 4-2 win over Belgium.

6:30am - Sailing: DOUBLE SILVER MEDALS for Australia in the sailing.

Sailor Mat Belcher has hailed his Olympic silver medal with Will Ryan in the men's 470 at the Rio Olympics as a triumph of Australian spirit.
