Semanya blitzes into 800m final

South African Caster Semanya cruised into the 800m final after winning her semi-final in a comfortable 1 minute 58:15 seconds.

Semanya heads into the final in terrific form, running the fastest time of the semi-finals, with many predicting her to break the 1:53.28 world record. The current Olympic mark stands at 1:53:43.
