7th Tackle: Kane and able to parents' aid

He feeds Sydney's homeless on a weekly basis, now here's another reason why Roosters prop Kane Evans is arguably league's most lovable guy.

Late last year Evans bought his parents a townhouse in Botany, where it's now difficult to score a decent block for under $1 million.

It's the first time the family has ever owned property, having previously always rented in Earlwood.

Evans still lives in the old home, with mum and dad moving over the summer.

Evans could be on the move from the Roosters, too. Out of contract at the end of the year, he's attracted interest from Parramatta and Wests Tigers.
