Twitter, LeBron James jumped to roast incredibly boring Super Bowl

The first half of the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams on Sunday was a dud.

The Patriots mustered just a 3-0 lead heading into the locker room, the two teams combined for just 69 yards on the ground, the Rams had only 57 total offensive yards and there were eight combined punts in the opening half. The Rams were shut out in the first half for the first time in head coach Sean McVay’s tenure, too.

It was incredibly slow.

So, naturally, Twitter turned elsewhere for entertainment — and had plenty of hilarious ideas about what was more entertaining than the first half of the game.

Even LeBron James got in on the action.

If it’s any consolation prize, though, the halftime show wasn’t any better.
