Young tennis player at centre of Nick Kyrgios romance rumours

Nick Kyrgios has been spotted out in Mexico with Anna Kalinskaya, further fuelling rumours he’s dating the Russian tennis player.

Kyrgios and Kalinskaya have appeared to be an item for months, the Aussie star moving on after splitting with compatriot Ajla Tomnljanovic in 2019.

On Monday the Daily Mail published pictures of Kyrgios and Kalinskaya hanging out in Acapulco after the Aussie retired hurt at the Mexican Open with a wrist injury.

The photos show Kyrgios planting a kiss on Kalinskaya’s forehead as they eat tacos together.

Kalinskaya also features heavily on Kyrgios’ Instagram story, the Aussie sharing two videos of the World No.111 recently.

Rumours started swirling last September when Kyrgios shared a photo of himself with Kalinskaya, writing: “My face when I see you doing your thing today.”

Kyrgios blasts Mexican crowd

It wasn’t a particularly happy time for Kyrgios in Mexico after he was booed off court by fans.

Kyrgios accused the Mexican Open crowd of “disrespect” after being jeered following his retirement against Frenchman Ugo Humbert.

The Australian had delighted fans with some superb tennis en route to the title in Mexico last year but it was a different story in Acapulco when he was forced to quit the first-round clash after losing the opening set 6-3.

The 24-year-old, who was on court for only 32 minutes, later vented his anger in an expletive-laden news conference.

“I couldn’t give a f**k. I literally couldn’t give a “f**k,” Kyrgios told reporters.

“I'm not healthy, I tried to come here, I tried to play.

“I've been doing media for the tournament, been helping out.

“I tried to give the fans a little bit of tennis. And their disrespect?”

Tomljanovic moves on with Berrettini

Kyrgios dated fellow Aussie player Tomljanovic for a number of years before things ended in mysterious circumstances.

Tomljanovic removed all photos of the pair from her social media pages in 2017 after Kyrgios was seen partying with other women at Wimbledon.

But she’s well and truly moved on, stepping out with new man Matteo Berrettini at the Citi Taste of Tennis Event in Melbourne in January before the Australian Open.

Tomljanovic and Italian tennis star Berrettini were special guests at the culinary event.

The tennis stars have been an item since late last year, with Tomljanovic spotted cheering on Berrettini and the US Open in September.

“Ajla has a good soul; I would even say pure, and that I had to find out step by step,” Berrettini said of his Aussie girlfriend in November.
