Diver comes perilously close to terrifying mishap

Bulgarian diver Vadim Kaptur almost had a Greg Louganis moment when his head came terrifyingly close to smashing the diving board.

As you can see in the video above, Kaptur's forehead came within inches of the front edge of the platform as he attempted a daring flip.

Commentators were left gobsmacked by the tiny margin for error, saying the judges were likely to score him down if they felt any fear.
