Chinese swimmer finds out about medal win in post-race interview
China's Fu Yuanhui has become an internet sensation for her priceless reaction upon finding out she'd won bronze in the 100m backstroke final.
Fu touched the wall in a dead-heat for third, but didn't realise she'd clinched a medal until her pooldeck chat with a Chinese television presenter.

When asked if she'd like to deliver a final message to her fans, Fu shared her commiserations with the audience.

"Even though I did not win a medal..." she started, before being told she had indeed picked up a medal, as she finished equal third.
"What? Third? I did not know.

"Well, then I think that's not bad at all!"
Her response to finding out she was only one-hundredth of a second outside the silver medal was also a classic.
"Then I blame it on my arms being too short," she said.
Aussies Emily Seebohm and Madi Wilson placed seventh and eighth in the final.
