New video shows shocking moment Conor McGregor was king-hit

Fresh vision has emerged of the sickening moment Conor McGregor was king-hit at UFC 229.

In crazy scenes after his victory over McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped out of the Octagon and attacked the Irishman’s teammate Dillon Danis.

McGregor then attempted to join the fray, throwing a punch at Khabib’s cousin on top of the cage.

That prompted two of Khabib’s crew to jump into the Octagon and attack McGregor, one from in front and one from behind.

Zubaira Tukhugov king-hit McGregor from behind, and new video has captured the awful moment in full.

We’ve previously only seen Tukhugov hit McGregor from behind, but the new vision uploaded to Twitter shows it from the front angle.

Tukhugov climbs into the Octagon and after McGregor swings at his other friend, the Russian whacks McGregor in the side of the head, completely blindsiding him.

Criminal charges looming?

Nevada State Athletic Commission chairman Anthony Marnell said they won’t be taking the incident lightly.

“We’re taking a really hard look at that gentleman,” he told ESPN.

“We know exactly who he is and where he is.

“I have to let the Attorney-General determine – is that trespassing, disturbing the peace?

“That was a serious action and it deserves a serious consequence.”

UFC President Dana White added to Tukhugov’s troubles, by pulling the up-and-coming UFC fighter from his scheduled bout again Artem Lobov on October 28.

White also added the 27-year-old would never appear in the Octagon again, but Tukhugov clearly had no regrets for his actions as he bragged in a social media post.

“I slapped him as promised. I promised to make him answer for his words and I did,” he said.
