NBA Finals explodes as Drake clashes with Golden State stars

Drake just can’t keep himself out of the limelight.

The Canadian rapper was back at his annoying best in Game One of the NBA Finals as his beloved Toronto Raptors took on the Golden State Warriors.

Drake was seen jawing with members of the Warriors throughout the game before having what appeared to be a pretty intense chat with Steph Curry.

Sporting a Dell Curry jersey in a pointed troll of Warriors star Steph, Drake found himself face-to-face with the man himself during the first half.

In bizarre scenes, Drake picked something out of Curry’s hair as they exchanged words near the benches, before what appeared to be a parting spray from Drake as Curry ran off.

The strange moment sent fans into a frenzy.

But not done there, he got into it with Draymond Green after the game as the Raptors ran out 118-109 winners.

The exchange was brief before Green, who finished with a triple-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, walked off the court.

Tattoo fail

While he’s always going stick by his beloved Raptors, it’s tough to show up as the team’s No. 1 fan with his Warriors tattoos on display.

Yes, Drake has Warriors tattoos.

On his left arm, he has the number 30 with the word “gifted” written under it. That’s for Stephen Curry.

Next to that, he has a number 35 with the word “snipe” under it for Kevin Durant.

When it came time to root for the Raptors in the Finals, Drake had to come up with a creative solution to make sure those tattoos were covered up.

He opted for an arm band.

Given Drake’s past history, it will be interesting to see whether that arm band makes an appearance at every game of the Finals, particularly if the Warriors happen to take a lead in the series.

You might think Drake would never abandon the Raptors, but Drake’s decisions have always been curious.
