Correia taunts Holm seconds before brutal KO
Bethe Correia has been hit with instant karma after taunting Holly Holm seconds before receiving a massive head kick knockout.
Holm knocked out Correia in the main event at UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore, Holm’s first victory since beating Ronda Rousey in similar fashion in November 2015.
Holm caught Correia just over a minute into the third round with a vicious kick to the head and followed that up with a left uppercut while Correia was on the seat of her pants.
The knockout was especially sweet for Holm considering Correia taunted her moments before getting paid back.
Fans took to social media to slam Correia for the backfiring tactics:

Great advice from the Correia corner before round 3. “Don’t respect her”. KTFO. Beautiful work fellas.

Bethe Correia literally begged Holly Holm to hit her and boy did she! Holm lands a beautiful head kick then follows up with a punch. Wow!

Holm sent Correia to the shadow realm. That's what happens when you taunt.

Since upsetting Rousey at UFC 193, Holm had lost three straight fights — to Miesha Tate at in March 2016, Valentina Shevchenko in July 2016 and Germaine de Randamie this past February.
She previously had an unblemished 10-0 record in MMA.
