UFC star pulls off incredibly brutal flying knee KO

Edson Barboza has stunned the UFC world with what will surely go down as one of the biggest knockouts of the year.

Barboza is renowned for his jaw-dropping KOs, and this latest effort is no exception.

The Brazilian fighter was taking on Beneil Dariush on Sunday when the stunning moment occured in the second round.

Dariush hit Barboza in the face with a jab but Barboza countered perfectly, launching in the air and landing a vicious knee to his opponent's face.

Dariush was immediately unconscious, with the referee rushing in to stop the fight, the bout coming to an end at 3:35 into the second round.

"I think I'm ready for the belt," Barboza said after his third straight win in the UFC.
