'Like a horror movie': UFC fight tuns into absolute bloodbath
WARNING: Some viewers may find the following images confronting.
The Octagon at UFC Fight Night Fortaleza was left covered in blood after Joe Soto suffered a sickening head wound against Rani Yahya.
Soto and Yahya were battling it out on Sunday when the pair collided heads, opening up a big gash on Soto's forehead.
The referee was forced to momentarily stop the bout so the American could get some treatment, but the blood could not be stopped once the fight continued.
Commentators were surprised the fight wasn't called off, as more and more blood poured from Soto's head.
The brutal bout went the distance and Soto was eventually given the win in a unanimous decision.
Both fighters walked from the ring looking like they only just escaped with their lives.
