Snooker great spills on relationship with woman 23 years younger
Snooker great Jimmy White has spoken out about his relationship with Jade Slusarczyk - a woman 23 years his junior.
The 59-year-old has revealed how Slusarczyk, 36, has helped him overcome drug and alcohol problems, saying: “It’s a miracle she fancies me.”

“I’ve never been so happy and I’m pleased to say my life is in a good place. I haven’t got a zillion in the bank but I have my family and Jade," White told The Sun.
“I didn’t think for a minute she’d go out with me, because of the age difference.
"But she doesn’t care about the age difference, so why should I? She’s my girlfriend and she’s fit so I’m happy. She’s a beautiful girl, inside and out.”
White and Slusarczyk have been together for three years, in which time the former promotions girl has helped White turn his life around.
“It’s impossible to say how much I used to drink in my wild days," White said.
“It took 15 years to get sober and I don’t miss that life at all. Jade’s helped me because she doesn’t drink."
Jimmy White lied to Slusarczyk about his age
Slusarczyk has previously spoken out about the relationship, revealing White lied about his age when they first met.
Slusarczyk and White met at the Snooker Shout Out event in 2012.
She previously told The Mirror she didn’t realise who has was at first.
“He told me he was 35 when I met him,” she said.
“I didn’t even know who he was or that he was famous.”
The pair both had partners at the time, but stayed in contact until they started dating in 2018.
“I had this special feeling straight away when I met Jade. You have this instinct,” White said.
“Some people think it’s bulls***, but it’s not. When I first met her I thought she was fabulous inside and out.
“I had an instant buzz for her. I never thought anything would happen, but having been friends initially we finally got together all these years later.
“People are always going to talk about the age difference, but we don’t care.
“We know we’re all right. Her family like me. Everything’s good.”
Nicknamed 'The Whirlwind' for his pace of play, White has been playing snooker professionally for 31 years and made it as high as World No.2.
He has 10 tournament victories across his career and is a six-time world championship finalist.
