How snooker star, 56, snagged beauty queen 22 years his junior

Jade Slusarczyk has spoken out about her relationship with snooker star Jimmy White, revealing the 56-year-old lied about his age when they first met.

Slusarczyk is a former Miss Blackpool and met White at the Snooker Shout Out in 2012.

The 34-year-old has told The Mirror she didn’t realise who has was when they first met, opening up about how he told her he was much younger than he was.

“He told me he was 35 when I met him,” she said.

“I didn’t even know who he was or that he was famous.”

White, a six-time world championship finalist, says Slusarczyk helped him turn his life around after battling drug addiction.

“I haven’t been a raving lunatic, truthfully, for 25 years. The thought of the weekends I used to have now makes me shake,” he said.

“We go out and have a drink occasionally. We’re quite happy to go for a nice meal and go the theatre or something.

“We’d rather waste the hours that way instead of getting s***faced.

“She’ll tell you I’m like an old fart now. I have been tamed.”

‘Special feeling’

The pair both had partners when they first met, but stayed in contact until they started dating 18 months ago.

“I had this special feeling straight away when I met Jade. You have this instinct,” White said.

“Some people think it’s bulls***, but it’s not. When I first met her I thought she was fabulous inside and out.

“I had an instant buzz for her. I never thought anything would happen, but having been friends initially we finally got together all these years later.

“People are always going to talk about the age difference, but we don’t care.

“We know we’re all right. Her family like me. Everything’s good.”
