Greg Norman has reportedly told a friend he’s ‘amused’ by the fan frenzy sparked by his rather X-rated social media photo.

The Aussie golf legend sent fans into meltdown when he revealed way more than many expected in some photos of him playing with his dog at the beach last week.

Norman, 65, posted three photos of him and his pooch on the sand, however fans spotted a very X-rated detail in the first.

The photo has since gone global as Paige Spiranac and even the Sunrise hosts getting in on the fun.

While Norman is yet to respond publicly to the frenzy, he has reportedly expressed his amusement to a friend.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a close friend told the publication Norman was “amused” by the situation he’s created.

Norman reportedly declined to comment on whether or not he was aware of the X-rated detail in his photo before he posted it.

“A man and his dog on a Sunday,” Norman wrote alongside the photos.

Fans flooded the comments with a number of naughty quips.

“Damn Greg save it for the OnlyFans. Absolute unit!”, one follower wrote.

Another said: “I cannot focus on the dog, my eyes were somewhere else.”

Paige Spiranac cops backlash over Norman comment

Spiranac was forced to defend herself from fans after her comment about Norman’s photo.

On Tuesday, Spiranac referenced Norman’s nickname ‘the Shark’ while poking fun at the X-rated gaffe.

“Greg ‘The Shark’ Norman. More like hammerhead shark,” the golfer-turned-social media star tweeted.

While the comment was tongue-in-cheek, some followers criticised Spiranac for seemingly objectifying Norman.

The 27-year-old has been vocal in the past in her criticism of strict golf standards, particularly about what female players are allowed to wear on the course.

Some Twitter users accused Spiranac of double standards, saying she can’t complain about people commenting on her body if she is happy to comment about others like Norman.

But Spiranac wasn’t having any of it, shutting down fans in brutal fashion.

“I get this comment all the time. I want to set the record straight,” Spiranac wrote on Twitter.

“I have never and will never complain about that.

“Just don’t call me a sl** or a wh*** solely based on the tops I like to wear. It’s not that hard to understand.”

Spiranac responded to another follower, writing: “If someone makes a joke about my t***, I laugh.

“I know my brand. But there is a line and guys cross it more than not.

“That’s the only time I will stand up for myself and say it’s not okay because it’s not. That’s the whole point of my original tweet.”
