Blues second-rower Tyson Frizell has been praised by rugby league fans for his spectacular effort to chase down Valentine Holmes early in the match.
The big forward was well on the opposite side of the field when Holmes intercepted the ball from a wayward James Tedesco pass and started on his way to the try-line.
Frizell surprised many viewers with his pace, and despite not being able to run down the Queensland winger, he was able to make it a tougher angle for the Maroons to convert the try.
The unwavering commitment of the New South Welshman quickly won over fans from both sides of the support.

How bout Tyson Frizell’s chase though. Obviously didn’t get there fully but the effort was 120%. All heart.

Frizell has been one of the standout performers for the Blues in the 2018 series, and this Origin moment reinforces why the fans have an appreciation for the gutsy second-rower.
New South Wales will be looking to complete the series clean sweep with a win over Queensland at Suncorp Stadium.
