Football star loses the plot in interview with TV presenter girlfriend

Man City left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko hugged his TV presenter girlfriend and gatecrashed a live interview after Ukraine qualified for Euro 2020.

The 22-year-old played an important role in Ukraine’s 2-1 victory over Portugal, despite Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 700th career goal.

But it was Zinchenko’s post-match celebrations that had fans talking after he couldn’t contain his excitement.

After chanting and hugging his girlfriend on air during an interview, the Man City left-back then stormed a teammates interview with his TV presenter girlfriend moments later.

He then stormed the broadcast panel’s desk while Yarmolenko was being interviewed.

Zinchenko continued his bizarre dancing and chanting in front of the panel.

The 22-year-old also finished his interview with his girlfriend Vlada Sedan saying: “Now everyone should make love all night”.

Fans followed the antics with mixed reactions, including Man City teammate Kyle Walker.

Portugal is in a battle with Serbia to automatically qualify for Euro 2020 after Ukraine secured qualification.
