'Banned for life': Fan's disgusting act in selfie with female footballer

A Mexican football club say they will ban one of their fans for life after he appeared to grope a star female player.

Tigres made the announcement after an image emerged of Houston Dash midfielder Sofia Huerta with the man in question.

The pair were posing for a selfie, with the gentleman's arm wrapped around Hurta's shoulders and his hand resting high on her chest.

The image of the man grabbing the USA international began circulating on social media, with Tigres subsequently confirming their decision to take the matter further.

“As a result of events that took place on Saturday October 5, during which a ‘pseudo-fan’ reportedly attempted to undermine the dignity of a Houston Dash player at the end of the match, we’ve decided to take action. We will file a lawsuit against whoever is responsible for what took place,” the club said in a statement.
