Disgraceful moment Khabib teammate sucker punches McGregor
Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the octagon to attack a member Conor McGregor’s team in the fiery aftermath of the UFC 229 main card event.
But as all hell broke loose around McGregor, he seemed to remain put as he recovered from his fourth round loss via submission – until he was sucker punched by a member of the Khabib’s team.
Fans are already calling for Khabib to be stripped and banned from the UFC for his brain snap, but the actions of his teammate could have even worse consequences.
A member from Khabib’s corner, dressed in a red t-shirt, jumped into the octagon unbeknownst to McGregor.
He immediately launched a tirade of punches at the unsuspecting Irishman, catching him off-guard and springing security into action.
“One of Nurmagomedov’s teammates throws a right hand at Conor,” said the commentators.
“All hell has broken loose!”
Fans watching the incredible scenes unfold were quick to slam the Khabib teammate’s actions as an utter disgrace:

McGregor makes everything a circus and does wild stuff, but the major difference is he is doing it all, what makes Khabibs part much worse is he didn’t attack someone he would ever fight and his brother and teammate sucker punched Conor who wasn’t taking any part in the skirmish

UFC boss Dana White later told Fox Sports that three members of Nurmagomedov’s team were arrested.
“Three of his guys have been arrested and taken to jail,” White said.
“They both made it very clear the rivalry would not be over after the fight, but I didn’t see Khabib jumping over the octagon coming.
“What happens now is three guys have been arrested, there are going to be charges filed against them and god knows what Nevada State Athletic Commission is going to do to Khabib.
“There’s a lot of repercussions…ones I don’t even think they’ve realised yet.”
‘Stripped and banned’: UFC fans fume over Khabib’s actions
UFC fans have been left gobsmacked after the UFC 229 fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor took an ugly turn.
After beating McGregor in the octagon from a rear-naked choke, Khabib set his sights on a member in the crowd and went after him.
The target was Dillon Danis, a fellow MMA fighter and good friend of McGregor.
But the Russian’s uncharacteristic brain explosion now has fans calling for him to be banned from the UFC:

The implications of Khabib’s actions are unknown, and could be for some time.
But if the UFC is to set a precedent on the matter, fellow fighter Paul Daley copped a life ban for cheap-shooting rival Josh Koscheck in 2010 after the bell.
Khabib’s actions overshadowed what has yet to be confirmed as the biggest fight in UFC history.
UFC personality and commentator Joe Rogan said it was foolish:
“Khabib jumping out of the octagon like that and attacking someone in the crowd is so stupid, so unnecessary, and so foolish,” said Joe Rogan.
“This entire event has been marred by him jumping out the octagon and attacking Dillon Danis like that.
“That was disgusting – Khabib jumping out of the octagon, and Khabib’s friends jumping into the Octagon and attacking Conor.”
Rogan also fears the incident won’t be contained, and will spark a chain reaction of fury.
“This is going to spill our onto the streets – there’s a lot of Irish fans, there’s a lot of Russian fans.
