Novak Djokovic challenges Federer and Nadal in isolation stunt

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has shown of his impressive athleticism and challenged a host of tennis stars, including Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, to repeat his yoga stunt.

Celebrities, rivals and sport stars all responded to Federer’s crazy ‘training at home’ challenge that gripped fans worldwide in self-isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, Djokovic has come up with a crazy athletic challenge of his own and challenged the likes of Federer, Nadal and Stan Wawrinka to get involved.

“Jelena and I decided to challenge you guys and our Novak Djokovic Foundation community to try this acro yoga position this week with a partner- spouse, kids, roommate, sibling, parents, coach, whoever you’re staying at home with that‘s up for it,” he posted.

“Keep your cores strong and your backs safe. Show us what you’ve got!”

The challenge involves his wife, Jelena, balancing herself on Djokovic’s legs and standing up.

Djokovic has been practicing yoga for many years and has appeared to challenge other tennis stars in isolation around the world to get involved.

Federer challenge goes bonkers

Federer’s recent challenge caught the attention of many celebrities who showed off their regime in his latest ‘tennis at home’ trend.

Some of them included Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, actors Hugh Jackman and former WWF star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and survivor specialist Bear Grylls.

And a few have started to respond to the #trainingfromhome challenge.

Aussie actor Jackman responded to the video claiming while he doesn’t have a tennis court at his place in New York, he does have plenty of stairs to run up.
