Chiara Passari has put any lingering doubts about the strength of her relationship with Nick Kyrgios to bed with a gushing social media post about the Aussie tennis star.

There were some ugly rumours before the Australian Open that Kyrgios and Passari were on the rocks after Passari posted a cryptic Instagram message about "cheaters".

Without naming Kyrgios, Passari posted: “Cheaters always want you to be loyal while they’re being unfaithful."

Kyrgios further fuelled the rumour mill when he appeared to delete a number of photos of Passari from his own Instagram page.

However Kyrgios and Passari appear to be stronger than ever, with both posting messages of love and support to one another in recent days.

On Wednesday Passari posted a belated Valentine's Day message to Kyrgios.

“I have learnt a lot and am also learning a lot about myself since meeting you,” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair.

“There will always be struggles but as long as that magic and those unforgettable experiences are there it’s all worth it.

“Happy belated Valentine’s. I love you.”

Passari was spotted watching Kyrgios on the practice court over the weekend after flying to Melbourne to support him at the Australian Open.

She wasn't in attendance during Kyrgios' opening singles matches, and the mercurial Aussie star was clearly missing her.

“Miss u Chizzel,” Kyrgios wrote on a courtside camera lens after his opening round victory.

He later posted a photo of himself writing the message on Instagram, tagging his girlfriend in the post.

Kyrgios also referenced Passari in one of his post-match press conferences.

“I feel old. I feel like this sport has stressed me out. I feel like an old soul,” he said.

“At the end of the day I know it's just a tennis match. I mean obviously I'm going to get angry as I'm playing. I'm a competitor, I want to win.

“But I don't beat myself up over losses. I'm extremely lucky to even be in my position.

“I’m healthy, I've got great friends, great family. I've got an amazing girlfriend back home."

Kyrgios and Passari have been together since mid-2020.

The Aussie star has previously dated fellow players Ajla Tomljanovic and Anna Kalinskaya.
