'Doesn't know the rules': Dane Rampe's crazy new brain fade
Sydney Swans co-captain Dane Rampe has extended his season of brain fades, combining with teammate Callum Sinclair for a moment of craziness.
With just seconds left on the clock in the third quarter at the SCG on Friday night, Hawthorn’s Jack Gunston snapped the ball in hope.
The siren blew while it floated high up in the air – but as anyone who has played or followed football should know, any score will still count.
Rampe and Sinclair seemingly forgot that part.

Both players stopped metres outside the goal square, letting the ball bounce through for a goal to cut the Swans’ lead to eight points.
The damage was minimised when Sinclair himself kicked a goal in the opening 90 seconds of the fourth term, and the Swans went on to win comfortably.
But that only came after Rampe was savaged by commentators and fans.
The 29-year-old has already featured twice in the bloopers reel this year.
First he climbed the post in the last second against Essendon and managed to get away with it.
Just two weeks later he helped Sydney lose to Collingwood when he gave up a 50-metre penalty late in the game.

Acting captain Jack Gunston kicks an ugly goal, but it makes it after a bounce on the siren!

If Rampe doesn’t have a brain explosion, is it actually a Friday night at the SCG? #AFLSwansHawks

Sinclair was later ruled out of the game following a scary concussion caused by a hard and awkward landing on the turf.
