Enigmatic AFL star Jack Ginnivan has produced a moment of magic for Collingwood in one of the 'Goal of the Year' candidates.

Ginnivan is turning heads this year in the AFL having already won over Kane Cornes after some early criticism in the season.

And the MVP from the ANZAC Day match was at it again against the Suns.

Picking the ball up on the boundary line, Ginnivan showcased his brilliant running as he evaded two Sunds defenders.

He then faked a shot at goal, before rounding another defender before placing the ball through the sticks to send the MCG wild.

“Sunday special to go with Anzac Day, it’s getting better and better for Jack!” Fox Spots commentator Anthony Hudson said.

St Kilda great Jack Riewoldt shut down Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall and said regardless of the defending, the goal was class.

“I’m a glass-half full guy, I’ll celebrate the goal. What a finish," he added.

Fans were quick to jump on the board.

Kane Cornes' tribute to Jack Ginnivan

The Collingwood star drew criticism from Cornes in the first round of the AFL season when cameras picked up Ginnivan's antics post-match.

Cornes then called out Ginnivan for his antagonistic behaviour towards Geelong captain Joel Selwood a few weeks later.

However, Ginnivan has shown his prowess in front of the goal after a masterclass for the Magpies in their ANZAC Day heroics.

Ginnivan's five-goal effort lifted the Magpies to an 11-point win over Essendon in a thrilling Anzac Day encounter at the MCG.

And in a surprise move, Cornes turned up to Footy on Nine with his hair bleached blonde.

While his co-hosts were left scratching their heads, Cornes said Ginnivan's 'edge' had inspired the 39-year-old

“I was just in at make-up a little bit earlier … and just (had) a bit of a touch-up,” Corners said.
