More women come forward amid investigation into Jon Patton
Two women have come forward to complain about allegedly receiving unsolicited, lewd messages from Hawthorn star Jonathon Patton.
It was first reported on Saturday that the Hawks star was under internal investigation by his club after a woman complained about his behaviour on social media.

Two women have since come forward separately with similar allegations of unsolicited messages.
Speaking to Nine News, Elle Conan said once she struck up conversation with the 27-year-old Hawthorn player he began sending her unwanted sexual messages.
“Basically from the get-go he was talking to me in such a sexual nature that I never reciprocated,” Conan said.
“He would send me photos of him in bed exposed.

“I would make it really clear that I didn’t want that from him.”
Jacqueline Kearton did her own interview with Channel 7i, arguing sending unwarranted sexual messages to women was a problem that needed to be solved.
“He just needs to be made an example of so these young guys who are coming up and looking at these older players think they’d better not do that sort of stuff,” Kearton said.
“Unfortunately it’s not something that’s uncommon but it makes you feel uncomfortable.”

Hawthorn investigating Jonathon Patton over messages
Patton reportedly sent lewd images to a woman over social media, with the Hawks addressing the matter with the injury-prone forward after becoming aware of the allegations.
"The allegations are of behaviour that does not reflect the values and standards of Hawthorn Football Club," Hawthorn said in a statement on Saturday.
"As soon as the club became aware of the allegations it addressed the matter with Patton directly and clearly communicated that any behaviour of this nature would not be tolerated.
"The club takes these allegations seriously and has referred the matter to Hawthorn's Integrity Committee.
"Hawthorn advocates for equality and respect for everyone and demands this same behaviour from all involved with the club."
Patton has endured a horror run on the injury front since being drafted by GWS with pick No.1 in the 2011 national draft.
The 27-year-old, who has undergone three knee reconstructions, played 89 games over eight injury-ravaged seasons at the Giants, before being traded to Hawthorn at the end of 2019 for a future fourth-round selection.
Patton played six games for the Hawks in a 2020 season where he suffered a hamstring injury and then later a torn plantaris tendon in his leg.
