'Please pray': Concerns for WWE legend after shock hospitalisation
The wrestling world is praying for 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan after the WWE legend was rushed to hospital where he had emergency surgery on Wednesday.
The 67-year-old Hall of Famer's wife shared the devastating news with fans on social media, posting a photo of Duggan lying in a hospital bed.

"Back where we don't want to be," wife Debra wrote.
"Please pray for Jim and his doctors as he has emergency surgery this morning."
Thankfully, Debra later revealed that Duggan's surgery was successful and he was doing well.
"Out of surgery and back in his room. Everything went well," she wrote alongside a photo of her smiling husband.
"Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and good thoughts. You can keep them coming in."

The reason for Duggan's latest hospitalisation wasn't made clear, however he has suffered a number of health issues in recent years.
He was admitted to ICU in 2018 with an irregular heartbeat and had surgery on his heart in 2019.
He was back in hospital in September of 2019 with a severe infection.
Duggan was also diagnosed with kidney cancer in 1998, which forced him to briefly put his wrestling career on hold.

Fans and fellow wrestlers flocked to social media to send their well-wishes to the iconic star.
"Jim Brother you got this! May Jesus protect you, help you heal and hear the thousands of prayer from you Friends and Fans!!" wrote Brutus Beefcake.
NWA tweeted "sending our love", while R Truth wrote: "Love you."

Duggan was a fan favourite throughout his professional wrestling career, carrying an American flag and a 2x4 piece of plywood.
He made his debut in WWF in 1987, winning the first ever Royal Rumble one year later.
Duggan also wrestled in WCW and won the US heavyweight championship in 1994.
He returned to WWE in 2005, competing for four more years before moving to the independent circuit.
Duggan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
