Wrestling legend Triple H shares gruesome photo of injury
Wrestling legend Triple H has left fans feeling queasy after posting a photo on social media showing the gruesome extent of his recent injury.
The Game sent shockwaves through the WWE when he was seriously hurt in a stunt that went wrong during the Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
Pairing up with Shawn Michaels to form the tag-team duo D-Generation X, the pair were squaring off against the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker.
During the match, Triple H was sent hurtling over the top of the ropes in a stunt he would have pulled off on countless occasions.
However, the 49-year-old was in obvious pain as he struggled to get back to his feet – clutching at the upper part of his torso.
It emerged after the fight that the wrestling legend had torn a pectoral muscle and had to be sent in for surgery.
Now The Game has provided a graphic illustration for fans about the gruesome extent of the injury, after uploading a photo of the massive bruising surrounding his upper body.
