Is this the worst soccer tackle you've ever seen?
A French player’s insane kung fu kick to the chest of an opponent has stunned the football world, with many describing it as one of the worst tackles ever.
A Champions League fixture quickly turned ugly on Wednesday night as the player recklessly went in for an insane two-footed tackle.
The F91 Dudelange player jumped to win the ball, which he did, but then proceeded to aggressively launch himself into the other player’s chest with two feet.
Bryan Melisse immediately received a red card for his efforts, and was confronted by opposition players as he was escorted from the pitch by coaching staff.
The MOL Vidi player on the receiving end of the nasty challenge was rolling around in agony on the turf.
F91 Dudelange was trailing MOL Vidi 2-1 in their Champions League qualifier with just 45 seconds to play when Melisse snapped.
With the new Champions League campaign barely just beginning, Melisse has already ensured his challenge will be added to the contender list for worst tackle of the season.
Lower league clubs from all around Europe commence their gruelling qualifying campaign in a quest to play Champions League football – but the insane two-footed tackle was just a lowlight as F91 Dudelange were bundled out of the qualifiers on aggregate to MOL Vidi.
We've literally never seen a challenge like this in a game before… 😳
He meant it too. There was absolutely no need for this! 😐 https://t.co/JZOLjswztH

Hope all @FIFAcom @fifacom_es and @UEFAcom @UEFAcom_es apply the strongest sanction to Bryan Melisse of F91 Dudelange for such dirty kick play. Almost kill his opponent pic.twitter.com/Z864hfQJtF
