WM Phoenix Open is four weeks out. What's the latest at TPC Scottsdale?

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Four weeks from now, the PGA Tour's WM Phoenix Open will be underway at TPC Scottsdale. It's going to be the 90th playing of what has become known as the Greenest Show on Grass.
The 2025 rendition will also be the 38th time the tournament will be contested at TPC Scottsdale. The build-out of the Stadium Course starts in October the year prior every year and crews work right up till tournament week to get it all ready. After all, the tournament welcomes more than 500,000 fans over the course of seven days every year. (The tournament officially stopped reporting daily attendance numbers after the 2018 event which saw a single-day crowd of 216,818 for Saturday’s third round and an overall mark of 719,179 fans for the week.)
On Wednesday, 2025 Tournament Director Matt Mooney announced the first three commitments for 2025:
Defending champion Nick Taylor, who needed a playoff last year to be beat Charley Hoffman
Two-time WM Phoenix Open winner Hideki Matsuyama, fresh off a 35-under performance at The Sentry
Wyndham Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open champ
