Watch: Jordan Spieth makes amazing par after using his putter to get out of a bush
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Add another moment to the legacy of Jordan Spieth at the WM Phoenix Open.
On the 11th hole Sunday, Spieth's tee shot ended up in a bush down the right side. After some strategizing, he ultimately decided on using his putter – yes, his putter – to extract it from trouble.
His third was still on the dirt but from 124 yards out, he landed his ball on the green. He then converted a 12-footer for par. Ho-hum. Just Jordan Spieth doing Jordan Spieth things.

A year ago, Spieth rolled in a 55-foot birdie putt on the par-5 11th, igniting the fans. On his closing hole that day, he holed out from the bunker.
Later in that round, he made an all-world birdie from jail.

In 2021, Spieth shot a 10-under 61 thanks to some amazing shots, like a chip-in for birdie from 68 feet at No. 10, a 37-foot birdie putt on the par-3 16th and a 30-footer birdie on the 17th.
He hasn't finished within 12 shots of a winner since the WM Phoenix Open last year.
