Footballer's celebratory kiss with wife goes horribly wrong
If you’re going to celebrate a goal by running into the stands and kissing your wife, at least make sure the goal was allowed.
Brazilian footballer Cristaldo Farias Wanderson didn’t do that over the weekend, resulting in a hilarious fail.
Wanderson, currently playing for Ludogorets Razgrad in Bulgaria, thought he’d netted a goal for his side when he ran off the pitch to celebrate with his wife.
He ran up towards the stands and planted a smooch on his missus, only to find out that play had continued.
The look on his face when he realised the goal had been disallowed was priceless.
“One of this weekend’s funniest moments in Bulgarian football,” a Twitter user said while posting the video.
“Wanderson scoring for Ludogorets against Slavia, then celebrating by kissing his wife in the stands, without realising his goal has been ruled for off-side.
“To top it all off, there was NO off-side.”
To make matters worse, the game finished 0-0.
Ludogorets (in green) were denied a crystal clear goal for an offside that never was. Scorer Wanderson ran to the stands where he celebrated by kissing his wife without realising his goal was ruled out. The kiss, though, stood 😉 pic.twitter.com/0pDbpSwN3g

Brazilian winger Wanderson celebrated his goal for Ludogorets at the weekend by running into the stand to kiss his girlfriend only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.
To top things off, the goal wasn’t even offside 🤦♂️pic.twitter.com/VuBjNdaaUe— 32Red (@32Red) August 27, 2019
