Wallabies great in hospital after being stabbed defending family
Former Wallabies player Toutai Kefu is in hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in the stomach in his Queensland home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 47-year-old was stabbed after three people are believed to have broken into his home in Brisbane at 3am, with a brawl breaking out after they were caught inside.

Toutai's wife, son and daughter were also caught up in the chaos, with his wife also in hospital with a serious arm injury, while his son was also stabbed in the stomach.
Kefu's daughter was also injured, however all three of his family members are believed to be in a stable condition.
One of the alleged attackers was arrested at the scene after neighbours came to the family's assistance, with Queensland Police saying the other two escaping in a car.
In a statement on their website, Queensland Police said there were two men in custody over the alleged break-in.
"Police have two males in custody following a burglary and wounding in Coorparoo this morning," the statement read.
"Police were called to Buena Vista Avenue at around 3 am in relation to an incident.
"Early information suggests a number of males were disturbed breaking into a dwelling there and a violent altercation left four members of the house injured.
"One male was restrained and taken into custody at the scene.
"Further offenders fled in a car toward Woolloongabba.
"The four injured residents were transported to the Princess Alexander Hospital for treatment. A man in his 40’s has serious injuries."

Kefu is the coach of the Tongan national rugby team, following a glittering career with the Wallabies and in Super rugby.
He earned 60 caps for Australia and was a key figure in both the 1999 Rugby World Cup triumph as well as the 2001 Bledisloe Cup victory.
Kefu also played more than 100 games for the Queensland Reds.
