'Killed a guy': UFC world erupts over 'devastating' knockout

The UFC world was left gobsmacked after Canadian heavyweight Tanner Boser sent his opponent crashing to the mat with a vicious combination.

Boser was taking on Philipe Lins on the prelim card for UFC Fight Night: Poirier v Hooker in Las Vegas.

But just under three minutes into the first round, Boser caught Lins with an overhead right on the top of the head.

The punch seemed to stun Lins and Boser took advantage.

He then landed five powerful shots with an uppercut knocking Lins out could as he went crashing to the mat.

But in his most vicious hit, Boser delivered a brutal hammerfist shot before referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.

Fans went wild over the astonishing combination.

“That was vicious,” former UFC middleweight champ, Michael Bisping, said in commentary.

“He [Lins] is out cold, unconscious. My word.”
