UFC star Mike Perry has risked the wrath of his girlfriend after receiving a lucrative offer from a porn star to appear in his corner.

The controversial UFC welterweight hatched a plan to make a little extra money for his fights by allowing fans to bid for the right to be part of his entourage.

Perry tweeted that whoever bid the most money online would be be able to work in his corner for the upcoming fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 in November.

What Perry obviously didn't count on was how his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez would react to the inevitable candidates.

The American fighter had previously been only used his girlfriend in the corner for his previous fight against Mickey Gall.

However, porn star Kendra Lust decided she wanted in the action in a move that went down like a lead balloon.

The 42-year-old adult film star, former webcam model and director, responded to Perry's tweet with an offer of $6000 to join the fighter's corner.

It was flat-out rejected by Perry's girlfriend, with Gonzalez letting the adult film star know exactly how she felt about the idea.

“Definitely not,” Gonzalez replied to Lust’s hopes of being in her boyfriend’s corner.

Fellow fighter trolls Perry over idea

UFC middleweight Darren Till - an outspoken critic of Perry's - said he’d bid $5,000 and then opened a GoFundMe page to raise the money for it.

It’s highly unlikely that it will ever happen, though, even though Perry manager Malki Kawa said some of his NFL players approached him about doing it.

First, a corner person is licensed by the state athletic commission, and getting that approval could be tricky. Second, either UFC or ESPN could scupper it, believing it is making a mockery of the sport.

In 1977, former Atlanta Braves owner Ted Turner took over the Braves as manager for one day in a game against the Pirates.

The next day, however, MLB commissioner Bowie Kuhn and National League president Chub Feeney ended the experiment.

It would be a surprise if the Perry cornerman bid process got that far.
