UFC boss Dana White has sensationally thrown down the gauntlet to Jake Paul after making the explosive claim that the Youtuber is a steroid user.

Paul renewed an ugly war of words between the pair after issuing White with a New Year's challenge to substantially reform the UFC.

The Youtube-turned boxer claimed that he would retire immediately if White met the list of demands that he posted on social media.

White responded by accusing the younger Paul brother of being a drug cheat, while hitting back at the Youtuber's claims that he's a cocaine user.

“You publicly stated that I use cocaine. I do not," White said in the video posted on social media.

"So I told you [that] you could randomly cocaine test me for the next ten years.

"I believe that you’re a cheater, and I believe that you use steroids, so I want to randomly steroid test you for the next two years.”

White also went on to doubt the authorship of Paul’s New Year's post.

“That thing that you came out with... nobody on Earth thinks that you really wrote that. You’re too stupid.”

Jake Paul agrees to being tested for steroids

Paul hit back at White's steroid claims by agreeing to be tested "whenever the f**k you want".

“Dana, I accepted every part of your challenge. I said I would fight (Jorge) Masvidal in MMA.

“Steroid test me whenever the f**k you want. It is two weeks after my fight (against former UFC star Tyron Woodley) and I’m a fat b***h.

“And I take it as a compliment because there’s no other excuse to me knocking out all your champions (than) ‘This kid does steroids’.

“Look at me. Look at that, a fat b***h.

“If you steroid test me, I want to steroid test every one of your fighters. Ohhh, you don’t want to do it though, will you?”

Paul threw down the gauntlet with Masvidal and Diaz last week, after both were in attendance for his knockout of former UFC welterweight champion Woodley.

Specifically, he offered Masvidal $5 million guaranteed plus a cut of pay-per-view revenue to enter the ring, claiming it would be the most he had ever earned for a fight.

Masvidal quickly responded, calling the offer "chump change" and counter-offering to fight for $20 million, a figure he said he believed White and the UFC would accept.

As if Masvidal publicly rejecting a $5 million offer from Paul for a boxing match wasn't enough, White emphatically shut down the possibility of Paul taking on his fighters under contract during an appearance on "The Fight with Teddy Atlas" podcast.

When asked if there was any scenario in which he allows Masvidal or Nate Diaz to fight Paul, the UFC boss was emphatic.

“No. You notice he wants to f***ing fight everybody that’s not in his weight class, guys that are older and all this bulls***. Go find a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg, you goofball.”
