Paige VanZant has sent her Instagram followers into meltdown with a series of steamy bikini photos.

However it's not the photos themselves that have caused the majority of the frenzy.

Rather, it's the particularly eye-catching caption that the combat star decided to use that has stunned fans.

Posting four photos of herself in a blue bikini while sitting poolside, VanZant wrote: “Wrestled today, didn’t take a picture.

"Here’s some pics of me looking like a h** instead. Yolo."

American singer BC Jean commented: "This caption tho!!!"

Fellow fighter Gina Mazany wrote: "Lol this is the best", while another follower added: “You are effing fire".

Earlier this year, VanZant made her bare-knuckle boxing debut after switching from UFC.

The 27-year-old left the UFC in July of 2020 when her contract expired after four losses in her final six fights.

She then signed a lucrative deal with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, losing her debut fight in February.

Despite landing some massive shots, it wasn’t enough for VanZant as all three judges scored the contest 49-46 to Britain Hart.

Paige VanZant opens up on nude photo antics

Early this year, VanZant and husband Austin Vanderford gave fans a very revealing insight into how they were spending lockdown because of the pandemic.

The couple shared a series of nude photos of themselves doing household chores such as cooking, cleaning and exercising.

In an interview with Morning Kombat, VanZant said the cheeky snaps came about mostly out of boredom and a desire to do something fun during a time of uncertainty.

“That wasn’t a planned thing at all. It was quarantine, we stayed home for two weeks straight, it was kind of when this all first started,” she said.

“And we’re like, ‘All right, we’re not leaving our house’, and, as husbands and wives do, we’re just naked and walking around our house, doing our thing.”

VanZant said it was actually Vanderford's idea.

“Being an athlete, he’s crazy, he’s like, ‘I’m going to go do pull-ups’, and I go out to the garage, and he’s doing pull-ups like butt-naked, and I was like, ‘I have an idea’,” she said.

“It took a lot of convincing on my part to him to keep doing the naked photos, but it was just supposed to be fun, it was such a dark time at the beginning of all this coronavirus, the pandemic, and trying to have fun.

“We’re married, like to be naked, I guess.”

Vanderford, also a professional fighter, said: “We had fun especially in quarantine doing the nude photos and stuff.

“It was just fun for us to do and something that we wanted to do, so we went with it. It wasn’t due to any request.

“We just came up one day, and honestly, I think I was running around the house naked, I was out doing pull-ups or something, and the idea kind of sparked, and we did it.”
