Tuipulotu leaves Scarlets for Top 14 club Pau
Scarlets back-rower Carwyn Tuipulotu has joined Top14 side Pau.
The 23-year-old, who has been on a short-term loan with Saracens, will provide the French side with injury cover for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
A Wales Under-18s and 20s international, Tuipulotu made 48 appearances for the Scarlets following his senior debut against the Ospreys in 2020.
"I would like to say that I'm very grateful to the coaches and the club for the past four years and for an opportunity to start my professional career," he said.
"As a kid coming straight out of school, I never would have dreamt of the memories I've made here at Parc y Scarlets alongside meeting some incredible people during my time here."
Pau are currently 10th in the Top 14 and Scarlets head coach Dwyane Peel says Tuipulotu's move is a "great opportunity for him to play in the top tier in France".
"Carwyn has been a valued member of our squad and an outstanding professional throughout his time here," said Peel.
"I am sure everyone here at the Scarlets would like to thank him for how he has represented this club and wish him well with this next chapter of his career."
