Tornado Touches Down Near Carrollton as Severe Storms Sweep Illinois

Severe storms sweeping Illinois produced a tornado near Carrolton in Greene County on October 11.

The tornado in Greene County was produced at around 2:50 pm according to the National Weather Service.

Fast-moving storms had the potential to produce isolated tornadoes and winds of up to 50 mph on Monday afternoon.
