Kicker isn’t a position most of us put a lot of thought into when it comes to constructing our fantasy rosters. At least, not until we have to, when our incumbent kicker leaves us a few points short in a close loss or needs to be replaced during a bye.

That’s why it’s important to know which kickers are the best options each week (and likely available). FTW has the answers right here. But first…

Week 13 top performers

  • Chad Ryland, Arizona Cardinals (16 points)

  • Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (14 points)

  • Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14 points)

  • Matthew Wright, Kansas City Chiefs (13 points)

  • Brandon McManus, Green Bay Packers (12 points)

Now, here’s who you should target this week:

5. Jake Moody, San Francisco 49ers (vs. Chicago Bears)

It's been a rough few weeks for Moody, but he's primed for a bounce-back in this one if for no other reason than getting away from snowy Buffalo. But also Chicago allows the sixth-most points to kickers, and the Niners could struggle to finish drives with their top backs out.

4. Matthew Wright, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. Los Angeles Chargers)

Wright was among our top performers of last week, so we'll come back to him this week though he has a much tougher matchup against the Chargers.

3. Blake Grupe, New Orleans Saints (at New York Giants)

We'll come back to Grupe after he let us down last week, because although he missed a 36-yard field goal, he made two 54-yarders and remains a strong 20-of-22 on the season.

2. Nick Folk, Tennessee Titans (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)

This is a good matchup for Folk, who has missed just one field goal all season. The Jaguars allow the fourth-most points to kickers and Tennessee's offense is no sure bet to finish drives.

1. Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. Las Vegas Raiders)

Even after last week's big game, McLaughlin is only rostered in about 66% of Yahoo leagues. So he's still available to quite a few people as the Bucs get set to play the team allowing the most fantasy points to kickers through 13 weeks.
