A quote from The Simpsons has become a rallying cry for impulse buyers on TikTok.

"Just buy it, you don't have to rationalize everything," Lisa Simpson says to her mother in the clip.

"Hmmm, all right. I will. It'll be good for the economy," Marge responds.

That audio clip, when superimposed over footage of TikTokers mulling a possible sale, has become quite the trend — especially when used to justify the purchase of a certain extravagant Amazon robe.

Shop: Woman's Feather Bridal Robe, $120

Most things on the internet seem a little too good to be true, and this particular article of clothing looks especially good — but TikTokers can't get over how great it is. Neither can I, but we'll get to that.

TikTok user @lilvbb was one of the first to put it on display.

Commenters were floored by how good she looked in the robe.

"Do I need this? Absolutely not. Am I going to buy it and pretend I live in a mansion with 5 chihuahuas whilst I drink champagne? Absolutely right," one user wrote.

User @zzilcat also refused to rationalize her purchase.

"If I bought that I would act so dramatic," one person said.

Lastly, @briannaferro made the purchase, and dubbed the garment the "husband-killing robe" for its mysterious, murderous first wife aesthetic.

"It looks better in person than in the pictures," one user said.

Many rebuked the fact that the robe costs $120, but that was the only complaint from TikTok users, but its sizing is strikingly inclusive.

The robe comes in 39 different colors and four different sizes, from small-medium to 3X-large.

They aren't the only ones obsessed with the robe, either.

The robe has 187 reviews on Amazon and a 4.4-star rating.

"I plan on answering the door for the police in this robe after the mysterious disappearance of my 3rd husband," one reviewer joked.

"I mean, you just can’t beat the drama," another wrote.

I'll be honest, I bought the robe myself and it's one of the best things I've ever done. It's cozy, glamorous and not as hot as I was expecting it to be.

You don't have to rationalize everything, after all. Sometimes you can just buy the dramatic robe and traipse about your home looking like you may or may not have just murdered your husband, as you can see from this wildly extravagant TikTok post.

I will not be taking any questions about his whereabouts, by the way. You can ask me all you want about the robe, though.
