With the Australian Open well underway Yahoo7 Sport decided to take a look back at ten of the funniest moments at this year's Grand Slam that you might have missed.

Monfils and the tricky tweener

Gael Monfils is known for his eclectic style of play, and when he slipped mid approach, the crafty Frenchman was left with no other option than to zing a tweener at his opponent. Was the shot a success? Watch and find out.

Tomic all tongue-tied

He's no slouch on the court, but when Channel Seven asked Australia's number one male tennis player to record a promo you'd think the powerful server would just hit one down the line and be done with it. Well Bernie, at least we know you're in the right profession.

Line judge serves one up

They're outside all day in the stifling heat while balls flash past their head at speeds normally reserved for Formula One cars. It's a hard life for a line judge, until Todd Woodbridge hands you a racquet that is.

Monfils has a giggle fit

Gael Monfils returns in a different match but with the same cheeky attitude. After thumping a line judge with an errant serve Monfils is all smiles until he tries to concentrate on his next serve. That's when the giggling starts - we're lucky it stopped.

Sign of the times

If you ever doubted the ferocity in which tennis players hit the ball then just take a look at the damage done to the advertising signage on the net. Those three little letters survived quite the onslaught until Stanislas Wawrinka stepped up and showed them who's boss.

Don't stop the music

Jo-Wilfred Tsonga was set to serve up a zinger until a mysterious music filled the stadium. Tsonga saw the funny side of it and went on the win the match.

Li Na hits a home run

During her intense quarter-final match Li Na's concentration slipped slightly but her serve suffered most. China's most famous tennis player launched one into the bleachers and then tried to explain away the slip during her post match interview.

Eyes on the ballboy

While the spotlight shone mostly on Roger Federer and Milos Raonic during their fourth-round encounter, one plucky ballboy stole the show. With quick hands and even quicker reflexes this young drew a roar from the crowd.

Free hugs

Love works in mysterious ways at the Australian Open as this line judge found out when he received a one-arm hug from a player in need of a stretch. Ah romance.

Everyday I'm shuffling

He's got the girl (Victoria Azarenka) he's got the band (LMFAO) and he's most definitely got the moves. Redfoo had a bit of fun with the cameras and showed of some skills outside the Players Entrance.
