Tomic investigated over alleged apartment brawl

Australian tennis star Bernard Tomic is in trouble with the law again after police were called to his apartment to break up an alleged brawl.

A fight between Tomic and a male friend allegedly started while the two were in a hot tub together in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident comes days before Tomic is due in court to face hooning charges handed down to him on Australia Day this year.

Tomic was issued with a $300 ticket for driving his BMW M3 in breach of the special conditions of his licence and also charged with not keeping his car to the left of the double dividing lines.

Earlier in the month Tomic lost his place as Australia's top-ranked tennis player to Marinko Matosevic.
