'Never seen this': Tennis world shocked after Aussie's freak injury
Aussie star John Millman was forced to retire at the Mexican Open in freak circumstances after a ball hit his eye after a point.
Millman was down 7-6 (7-3), 2-0 to American Marcus Giron when the ball was hit back towards him after a point.

And in a freak accident, Millman turned his back and put his racquet out to control the ball.
However, it ricocheted up and into his eye.
Millman collapsed as he held his eye.
The Australian called a medical time out, before playing three more points.
However, the Aussie appeared to be in serious discomfort and was forced to retire.

Tennis fans were rightfully gobsmacked at how Millman was forced to retire.
Many viewers claimed they had never seen such a bizarre injury end a match.

In other matches in Acapulco, Rafa Nadal lost just four points on his serve while breaking his opponent three times to defeat American Denis Kudla 6-3, 6-2.
