Teen basketballer destroys opposition with 92-point game

A high school basketball player has strengthened his glittering reputation with a phenomenal match in which he scored a staggering 92-points.

Chino Hills High School prodigy LaMelo Ball had only made 29-points by halftime, but a 41-point final quarter helped him reach the outrageous figure.

The sophomore absolutely destroyed his Los Osos opponents with 37-for-61 from the field and seven assists in the 146-123 win.

The victory was an emphatic response to the team's previous match against Oak Hill, when they lost for the first time in 61 games.

The youngster's older brother Lonzo Ball has also made headlines this season for UCLA, but none that come close to matching LaMelo's astonishing feat.

Lonzo acknowledged his youngest brother on Twitter after the match saying, "That’s one way to bounce back after a loss."

Apparently, 92 points is a Ball family record.
