Taylor Swift gets her own SiriusXM station ahead of new album

It’s Taylor Swift’s world and the rest of us are just shaking it off to the sounds of it, as the superstar gets her own SiriusXM station in the run-up to the release of her new album.

“Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version)” will churn out Swift fan favorites across North America 24/7 from April 7 through May 6, SiriusXM announced in a press release Tuesday.

“The 13th day of the channel, Friday, April 19, coincides with the release of Taylor Swift’s new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’” the broadcaster said, noting the new album will be played from front to back “continuously throughout the weekend.”

In addition to Swift’s nearly two-decades’ worth of music, “including Eras Tour favorites, all (Taylor’s Versions), From the Vault tracks, live tracks, [and] bonus tracks,” the channel will feature Swifties’ sharing “their own personal and meaningful experiences with Taylor and her music.”

“The versatility of Taylor’s music and the phenomenal impact she’s had in her career across so many musical genres will be on full display on Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version),” said SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein, who praised the “legend at work.”

News of the temporary station broke the same day that Swift made history as the first person to rank on Forbes’ list of the World’s Celebrity Billionaires “based solely on songwriting and performing.”

The financial outlet, along with Bloomberg, first crowned Swift a billionaire back in October, thanks in large part to the massive success of her record-breaking Eras Tour — the global phenomenon which kicked off last year and became the first concert tour to ever gross over $1 billion in revenue.

Swift’s current net worth is estimated to be $1.1 billion.
