Steph Curry stuns golfing world with outrageous shot

Basketball star Steph Curry has left the world of golf gobsmacked with a ridiculous piece of skill in a professional competition.

The Golden State Warriors point-guard has an uncanny knack of making the extremely difficult look anything but.

During the Web.com Tour’s Ellie Mae Classic in California, Curry did exactly that with an exquisite approach shot on the par-four eight hole.

Curry’s drive that split the middle of the fairway was beautiful, but his next shot was as close to perfection as you can get.

The 30-year-old took aim at the pin with a short iron in hand, before hitting a laser-like approach that almost slam-dunked into the hole.

Curry watched as the ball hit the flag stick and came to a stop a matter of centimetres from the hole.

The Warriors star sunk the short putt for an easy birdie – one of three for the three-time NBA champion.

His incredible golfing ability left fans in awe on social media.

Curry finished with a respectable one-over 71 for his best round in a professional golf event.
