Shaun Johnson's wife captured in eye-opening move as Warriors hero farewells NRL in style
Kayla Cullen was sporting some rather saucy messages in support of her husband.
Shaun Johnson's wife Kayla has sent NRL fans into a frenzy after she was spotted displaying some rather X-rated messages during his farewell game on Saturday night. Johnson produced a magical moment in the last game of his NRL career, providing a perfect pass for the Warriors to score at the death to beat the Sharks in Cronulla.
Johnson had three try assists as the Warriors won 30-28 to send out the retiring halfback in style. Johnson's wife - netball star Kayla Cullen - was on hand to celebrate the occasion and even had some signage to show her support.
Fans noticed the messages on the signs were rather saucy, with one reading "I still get to play with Shaun Johnson" and another saying "you're going to score tonight". Kayla's cheeky signs lit up social media after the game, with fans loving the move from Johnson's wife.

She later wrote on Instagram: "The best night celebrating, crying and cheering on the hubby in his last game ever in the NRL. Incredibly proud and honoured to be part of your journey and excited for the next chapter."
However her promise that Johnson would 'score' that night didn't appear to eventuate. Kayla shared a message she sent to her husband later that night reading: "Sleep in the other bed, I'm spreading out."
Shaun Johnson completes magical finish to NRL career
With the Warriors down 28-26 in the dying seconds, Johnson threw a perfect two-man cut-out ball for Dallin Watene-Zelezniak to score in the corner for the win. The memorable victory ending the Warriors' nightmare season in style after they trailed 22-4 at half time.
Johnson began the game with a piece of old-school magic, before ending a personal nine-match losing streak in the final minute. He helped open the scoring when he dummied twice to his outside, stepped through the defence on halfway and passed back inside for Luke Metcalf.
He grubber-kicked early for one of Watene-Zelezniak's three tries, giving the flying winger room to run on to the ball and score. And he also nailed two clutch kicks from the sideline that helped the Warriors win.
Johnson said he went into 'touch footy mode' on the final play of the game. "It feels good. It feels very good to finish that way," Johnson said afterwards. "A couple of the boys just said you can't finish with touch highlight. That was the zone I was in, it was as simple as enjoying what we were doing."
Johnson was carried off the field by teammates, before being given a farewell haka by Warriors and Cronulla players. "That feeling of being in the zone, where you know why you're doing something and the look you want to create," he said.
"For me to able to finish my career on that moment is probably why I am content. It wasn't just a one cut-out ball. There were things that lead into that play to create that look. These are all just moments I know I am going to cherish. I can't believe I played a small role in it all."

Shaun Johnson planning young halves academy in retirement
The 31-year-old is now planning to mentor young halves in his retirement. "I'm passionate about helping younger spine members develop their game," he said. "I'm passionate about building a program around giving them access to knowledge that I wish I had access to coming through.
"I would've loved some sort of mentor to give me an insight into what it takes to be a first-grade halfback with pressures, time, space, tempo and detail on what it takes to be a week in, week out first grade player with pressure on your shoulders. I think I can offer that and I believe I can give back in that matter, and that's what's probably going to get me out of bed."
