'It's sexual assault': Shocking moment boxer kisses reporter mid-interview
Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev has been slammed on social media after kissing an unsuspecting reporter during a post-fight interview.
Pulev secured a seventh-round TKO victory over Bogdan Dinu in California on Sunday.
After suffering a severe cut above his left eye that caused blood to pour down the side of his face, Pulev kept his confidence as knocked Dinu down three times, with the final knockdown sealing the win.
However it was his actions after the fight that caused controversy.
Still bleeding from his cut, Pulev was being interviewed by Jenny SuShe when he decided to plant a big kiss on her mouth.
SuShe was covering the fight for Vegas Sports Daily, and looked very uncomfortable during and after the interview.
She was clearly embarrassed after the kiss, although she tried her best to keep her composure.
Video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, and a number of users are fuming.
One labelled the disturbing moment ‘sexual assault’.
This is not 'Alpha as f***', it's called sexual assault. This woman responds in the way too many women have to when they're afraid of men, it's called de-escalation. Any men that think this is acceptable behaviour, educate yourself. It isn't. Ever. https://t.co/ewb0IZ81dd

“That’s got to be one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen in ages,” another wrote.
Another person tweeted: “Too much of this gets put down to “banter” and shared around.”
Sexual assault shouldn’t be celebrated.

WTF totally unacceptable behaviour.
Anybody tried to do that to my wife or daughter in future even if so called World Heavyweight Champion I'd put him in his place.— CM Management (@CM__Management) March 24, 2019
Wow. WTF?

100%. You can see him eyeing her up the whole time, it’s so creepy. Totally unacceptable.

That was out of order there.

The victory helped Pulev (27-1, 14 KOs) maintain his status as the No. 1 contender to IBF and unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
When that fight happens is anyone’s guess; Joshua will defend his titles against Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller on June 1 at Madison Square Garden.
