The Lions rank 26th in red zone efficiency and have a negative turnover differential through three games, but the defense has been reliable led by defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson (6.5 sacks).
They're facing a revamped Seattle defense under new coach Mike Macdonald, who coached Hutchinson as the defensive coordinator at Michigan in 2021. The Seahawks (3-0) are the first team since the 1979 Pittsburgh Steelers to start a season 3-0 while allowing fewer than 150 passing yards in each game, according to the NFL. Seattle has a chance to establish itself as the early NFC West favorite after wins over the Denver Broncos in rookie Bo Nix's first start, the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins without Tua Tagovailova.
