A pregnant sea lion who had wandered onto the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa golf course in Carlsbad, California, on Thursday, June 23, was captured and released at Carlsbad State Beach, wildlife authorities said.

In this video by SeaWorld San Diego, rescuers who removed the sea lion from the course release the animal back into the ocean.

According to local reports, golfers from the Rancho Coastal Humane Society who were participating in a charity golf tournament reported the sea lion’s presence on the course to staff members, who contacted SeaWorld.
