Scotty James marries F1 heiress Chloe Stroll in jaw-dropping ceremony
Daniel Ricciardo was a groomsman for the four-time Australian Olympian.
Aussie Olympic snowboarder Scotty James has married Chloe Stroll in a glittering and star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy, on the weekend. James, a four-time Olympian and two-time medallist, met Chloe in 2019 after her brother Lance set them up.
Lance Stroll drives for Aston Martin and the pair are son and daughter of former Aston Martin team owner Lawrence Stroll. And James and Stroll shared numerous photos of their lavish wedding on Instagram, which took place in northern Italy.

James is a good friend of Aussie F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo with the Red Bull reserve driver part of the groomsman party. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolf was also in attendance with his wife Susie.
Former Renault boss Flavio Briatore was also at the wedding. The wedding was held in Italy, which coincides with the next F1 grand prix in Imola this weekend.
Other celebrities that attended the wedding included Hollywood stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas. After the wedding, the duo took photos along the Venetian canals and posted them on Instagram.
James took plenty of photos with his groomsmen before the wedding, which included Ricciardo and himself sharing a drink on a rooftop. James also posted a video of himself and Chloe on a boat on the canal the next morning as the afterparty went into the early hours.

James is considered one of Australia's greatest ever Winter Olympic athletes and snowboarders. He has represented Australia four times at the Winter Olympics and has picked up a silver and bronze medal in snowboarding in the halfpipe.
He was the flag bearer for Australia in the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he won bronze. The Australian has won three world championship gold medals, alongside a remarkable five gold medals in the Aspen Winter X Games.
James became engaged to Stroll in Switzerland back in 2021. Speaking to The Herald Sun, Stroll talked about how they were set up on their first date by her brother.
“Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry," she told the publication. "It was kind of strange. I had a conference in Park City (Utah), which was where his next competition was the same weekend and a lot of random things happened.
“Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or as he likes to say, we got to know each other, before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”
James most recently made an appearance at the Australian Grand Prix back, before he appeared at the Laax Open where he finished second in the halfpipe.
